The Advisory Board helps the WBC to leverage community partnerships, advises us on the needs of women business owners, and advocates for the WBC in the community. Community Development Advisor, Small Business and Entrepreneurship
Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis
Lisa Locke helps to foster partnerships and initiatives that promote small-business development and entrepreneurship across the entire Eighth Federal Reserve District. Her work includes conducting outreach, analyzing policy, convening events, providing technical assistance, and highlighting effective programs and tools.
Locke has worked at the St. Louis Fed since 1994, serving in various positions in the Payments department, Sales and Marketing, and Human Resources. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Louisville and a master’s degree in human resource development from Webster University.
Vanessa Pennoyer, MBA
President & CEO, Go 2 Girl
Go 2 Girl, LLC, a business development firm, was established in 2017. Services include obtaining multiple certifications (local, state, federal, 3rd party) specifically with women-owned business (WBE), minority-owned business (MBE), and disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE), LGBTQ and (Veteran-Owned). She then leverages their certification with various business development activities including supplier diversity portal registration, network outreach, proposal writing/compliance/content, capability statements, conferences/trade shows. Lastly, Go 2 Girl develops supplier diversity programs for intentional, transparent procurement initiatives. She’s processed hundreds of applications since 2017 in 24 states with a 99% submission approval. Her mission is to “Influence Relationships that Inspire Change.”

She earned her MBA from Strayer University in 2013 with emphasis on Marketing. Pennoyer has more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing for various industries including healthcare, architecture, food/beverage, publication, and accounting. She’s the wife to Bill Pennoyer, 15yrs, and a mother to 14yr old daughter Taylor, 9th Grade as well as a 22yr old son, Noah, 4th Year at University of Cincinnati. Vanessa serves as a song leader to her church and volunteers time to many missions as well as community committees.
Project Specialist, Mountain Association
Amy Williams is a Project Specialist at the Mountain Association. She works with clients in eastern Kentucky helping them access loans and business support services. Amy has owned small businesses as a massage therapist and business facilitator. She has a master’s degree in Community Economic Development and is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer having served in Armenia from 2011 to 2013. Amy has a passion for helping women entrepreneurs succeed. In her spare time she enjoys hiking and studying Spanish.
Small Business Banking Specialist and Branch Manager, Truist Bank
Amber Roundtree is a Small Business Banking Specialist and Branch Manager at Truist Bank in Northern Kentucky with 15 years of banking experience. Amber helps small businesses achieve their financial goals by giving expert advice and providing exceptional products and services. Amber also chairs the Women@Truist Resources Group for Kentucky. The Women@Truist Business Resource Group seeks to support and advance the Purpose, Mission, and Values of Truist by fostering a culture where women thrive. Together, we strengthen women's presence and impact at all levels of the company, in our communities and with our clients. Our mission is to inspire and empower all women through advocacy, development, understanding and inclusion. We focus on the women of Truist and their contribution to growing the business, supporting our communities, and living our purpose.
Allyson True Cook, JD
President & CEO, Erigo Employer Solutions
Erigo Employer Solutions was established in 2011 as a Professional Employer Organization (PEO). As a PEO, Erigo enables small to mid-sized companies to provide their employees with access to better, more affordable benefits and streamline a lot of the time demanding administrative HR functions -such as payroll, benefits, compliance and workers’ compensation. Erigo is certified by the Internal Revenue Service (CPEO) indicating that it has met the IRS’s rigorous requirements indicating financial soundness to provide PEO services. Allyson joined Erigo in October 2020 as its President/CEO. Prior to joining Erigo, Allyson practiced law for 25+ years serving businesses of all sizes with all aspects of their legal business needs. Allyson has a lot of experience working with small businesses, and has an extensive background in working with minority and women owned businesses. Allyson volunteered with ORV from 2009-2016 where she served on the Certification Committee that was responsible for reviewing/approving women owned businesses in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia. Joining Erigo as its CEO has allowed Allyson to continue her passion in working with small to mid-sized businesses in addition to minority and women owned businesses. Allyson is very active in her community serving as a Member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber, Chair of the Women’s Initiative Steering Committee and a member of the Chamber’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Allyson earned a degree in Business Administration and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky.
