Building Better Financial Solutions LLC
Beverly Bowens is a native of Greenville, SC., and currently resides in Lexington, KY. She is married, the mother of three children and four adorable grandchildren. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in Business Education, with a concentration in Business Administration, and a master’s degree in Family Studies, with a concentration in Family Financial Resource Management and Personal Finance.
Beverly has worked in the financial human services industry for twenty-plus years, helping families to become financially educated, homeowners, financially self-sufficient, build and maintain credit, create financial strategies for their emergency planning, and set their short and long-term goals.
Beverly has the heart to serve the financial education needs of others and teach basic financial skills such as budgeting, money management, saving strategies, debt management, goal setting, and retirement. She is currently on a mission to stomp out financial illiteracy and help people set goals, fulfill their dreams, ensure they are financially protected, and build wealth. To obtain this, she desires to help others to have a positive money mindset while gaining the tools to build better financial solutions and make smart financial decisions.
Currently, as a financial Educator and Consultant, she teaches financial literacy in community groups, churches, small businesses, and youth groups because so many people do not know how money works. She teaches two key concepts: the rule of seventy-two and the seven money milestones. Financial illiteracy is the number one economic crisis in the world. As we know, financial education is not always taught in schools, and oftentimes not even in the homes.
The financial education and knowledge she has gained and her compassion to advocate, educate and serve others are priceless. She genuinely enjoys seeing the growth in others when they understand how money works and can apply the basic principles to their lives and build wealth. This gives her immense joy knowing that she added value to the lives of others, which changed their financial trajectory... eradicating financial illiteracy so families can dream again!
